Floor Repair

Jason and his team did an incredible job. He is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Jason recently redid the hardwood floors in my parents' home and installed LVT over old vinyl/linoleum, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the initial quote through completion, he was super responsive, and the quality and speed of his work were incredible. Full disclosure: I was initially a bit skeptical of all the glowing online reviews—wondering if they were somehow incentivized—but Jason is legitimately the real deal. He gave his honest opinion at every step and built total trust right from day one. If you have any flooring project in mind, reach out to him. He will point you in the right direction, manage expectations, and deliver 100% top-notch quality. Highly recommend!

Jason is a true professional. Excellent work and thorough communication throughout the process.

Jason Tench Flooring is a top notch company from start to finish. My floors are gorgeous, both the hard refinishing and laminate insulation. Definitely give them a call for all of your flooring needs.

I recommended Jason Tench Flooring to a client of mine who was getting ready to sell and had wood flooring that a previous contractor botched. Jason came in, fixed it right, and had it done fast, which mattered since we were racing a listing date. Fair pricing on top of solving a problem most guys would've charged a fortune to untangle. If you're in the Sandston area and need flooring done by someone who actually knows what they're doing, this is your guy.

Jason Tench Flooring installed hardwood floors in two large bedrooms in our home, and honestly the whole thing was easier than I expected. His crew showed up on time, worked fast, and the attention to detail was obvious the second I saw the finished floors. Pricing was fair too, no surprises tacked on at the end. If you're in Mechanicsville and need flooring done right, this is who to call.

Beautiful! Did a wonderful job!

We had gotten another estimate from a local floor guy in Williamsburg who gave us a number that was way more than Jason's estimate. A lot more so choosing him was a no brainer. We just bought this cute house in Ford's Colony, but the original hardwood floors were a horrid dark red color. Jason's team was able to transform that dated red oak to a beautiful cream colored wood that is reminiscent of a beach house in Malibu or the Hamptons. These floors are so beautiful that I don't want to step on them or put any furniture on them. They are like a work of art. The house is 20 years old, but now the living room, dining room, and bedroom floors look newer.

Jason and his team, from start to finish were very friendly, very professional and just gave my patchy old floor a complete makeover. Definatley bringing them back to do some more work on my stairs. Thanks guys

Jason's team did an excellent job removing old vinyl and carpet prior to installing LVP. They also leveled out a slate floor and installed LVP. They cleaned up after each step, i.e. vinyl and carpet removal, and left us with an amazing looking floor! We highly recommend Jason!

Jason Tench and his crew came in to our home and practically gave us brand new floors. We had antique heart pine wood flooring and Jason was the only person that sourced vintage pine planks to replace some of the ones in our home. That is above and beyond. Jason was incredibly professional, communicative and quick. He and his team got us scheduled and completed the entire job in four days, which was about 1200 square feet of sanding and refinishing not only our floors but our entire staircase. I was a little nervous about how light the freshly-sanded pine looked, but Jason's suggestion to go with the natural finish has resulted in the exact tone of amber we wanted. We have a new appreciation for our beautiful floors which have already gotten lots of compliments. We would not hesitate to recommend Jason, his team and his services. Thank you!

Working with Jason was a fantastic experience. We didn’t know anything about hardwood floors, and he was educational and instrumental in making our new house into our new home. Jason took the time to answer all of our questions, never once making us feel like something was too small or insignificant. He worked with our short timeline, was incredibly communicative and delivered truly great results. Jason’s attention to detail made all the difference and I would recommend Jason to anyone looking to install great floors.

Working with Jason was fabulous. Very knowledgeable, educated my wife and I about our options, great pricing. Overall, excellent service, would certainly recommend a friends and family!

Your floors will love Jason Tench Flooring! We do! When we bought our house in Glen Allen some months ago, we knew the abused and neglected hardwood floors would need help. We knew it would require an expert's knowledge and skill. So we called Jason Tench. Jason orchestrated the total transformation of our floors! We doubt they were so beautiful when first installed twenty-four years ago. We knew Jason Tench flooring was the right choice to change our carpet also. We could go on about how pleased we are. We hope you will look carefully at our photos and then call Jason Tench Flooring to transform your floors. The difference is beautiful!

Great experience with our flooring installation! The team was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented from start to finish. The quality of the work exceeded expectations and the space looks beautiful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable and skilled installation services.

Jason and his team worked on a short time line and did an amazing job, matching existing hardwoods from our hallway into our bedrooms. Customer service received from Jason was punctual and efficient, responding to text messages usually within minutes. The team was punctual and efficient - showing up at the scheduled time, working hard all day long to finish according to promised timeline. The team cleaned up as they worked, minimizing any dust, and protected our existing floors with covering. The end result is exactly what we had hoped for. The beautiful hardwood floors have elevated our second floor and seamlessly match the rest of the home.

I used this company for 2 different projects one carpet and one LVP. Jason and his crew were very easy and pleasant to work with. He was available throughout to answer questions and help me with decisions. They were timely and hardworking. I am very happy with the high quality of work they did on both jobs.

Jason and his team did an amazing job on our downstairs flooring! We had some flooring problems with the kitchen and hall bath being taller than the other floors downstairs. Jason and his team fixed these issues! They helped us negotiate a cheaper price on our flooring. Our house looks incredible! Couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend! Oh and he also finished the job a hole day early! Great customer service.

I helped to set up Jason's company with a flooring job at my parents' home, and we highly recommend Jason's service. There are a couple specific reasons for our recommendation. One, we believe Jason was the most flexible person out of all the people we interviewed for the job. My parents are of age, so it was very difficult for them to move all the furniture pieces. Jason and his team helped to move a lot of pieces of furniture, particularly a grand piano. This was a service that not many of his peers would do, but was very important to us. Secondly, Jason and his team completed this job in 2 days. It was shorter than many of his competitors and helpful for us to plan (because my parents couldn't stay at the house while the job was being done). Third, when my mom had a spillage problem and called Jason (post job completion), Jason came over and helped my mom. I feel this is above and beyond what a company would do. When my place needs to have flooring done, I have informed Jason that I will use him again. Highly recommend.
